Into the abyss: Crawling in mud beneath the floor of an apartment unit

Because tsunami mud/sludge has infiltrated the foundation spaces in most of the homes affected here in Ofunato, if the entire lower floor of a residence isn't pulled up, someone will have to crawl around in the mud under the floor to dig it out and remove rotten insulation. The other day, that person was me (by choice, naturally). You will notice that I lacked the proper lighting to record video of myself down there, but this may still be interesting to you for the commentary and description of what I was doing. Good fun.
