  • wow, that was really cool. were all those cards on the table actually 1950's cards or were they reprints cause sy was kinda rough with them ,lol

  • They were all authentic original cards. But they were not the most valuable cards in the set.

  • oh ok i see. this might be a really stupid question but does he know to be sensitive with cards? i know hes like the god of card designing but im jsut curious, lol

  • Yes he knows the importance of properly caring for cards. The cards that we brought to the interview were already very worn and not big name players. He was much more focused on trying to remember stories than carefully holding cards.

  • I think stories like this about companies in their infancy are fun to listen to. And, Alan Narz looks like Hank Azaria.

  • i pulled Sy's auto from the fan favs a couple years a go!

  • I must have those L&L coordinates so I can mount a deep sea diving expedition to retrieve those cards, may-hap they were encased in metal crates in order to eliminate buoyancy?

  • that's my grandpa :-)

  • Very interesting stuff. Have been a collector since I was a young child.

I have collected many of the cards that Sy designed.

    Great getting the back story...

  • cool
