  • wow. gorgeous tone on both accounts. i love how the sound isn't forced- a lot of singers think that singing loud is all it takes, but there's SO much more to music than how loud it is.

    bravo!!

  • hell yeah!!..to all the haters that posted here..JJ is now playing Tony on Broadway in the revival of "West Side Story"...so now you can tuck your tails betweens your legs and be gone you catty bitches!!

  • shush you people in the background!

  • Absolutely brilliant! I enjoyed the strength of both voices and the depth of feeling

that their singing conveys. Good Luck toJJ (whichever of these singers he is) as

I would think both could take lead roles!

  • Actually, I can understand them just fine. And their "tone not being the greatest" may well have to do with the quality of 1) the sound system, or 2) the microphone on the video camera. At any rate, I can tell you from personal experience that Michael Mott has excellent tone quality; as for "putting maturity" into their tone, you're not actually supposed to do that. It falls into the realm of pushing, which can lead to nodes and other serious vocal problems.

  • Ummm....I thought they did a wonderful job with a difficult song........WOW! Go guys!

  • @themuseoffire Ironic that you left this comment and now the one in white is Tony in the revival of West Side Story. I realise this was 2 years ago but you sound like your trying to make yourself feel better about not majoring in MT.

  • well regardless of what you think one of them is now on broadway in rock of ages understudying the lead

  • I also must agree... Its not bad what they do, its just they are adding a bunch of vocal accrobatics in places where it shudn't be added. If they would focus more on what the song means and not some weird pop style it would sound much better. I stil give u a 4 out of 5 bc i've heard much worse.

  • I agree with so much!!!!! Its like Backstreet boys meets secret garden... I mean... its just not right. Just no. Im not feeling it. Yes. They have nice voices but not for this song. please no. I feel pain when I hear some of this. Literally. 2:44 to the end is ok but thats because there is both of u. I almost barfed at 2:53. Ya...

  • I'm sorry to disagree with all of you who are fawning over these two boys, but their tone just isn't the greatest. They're not putting any kind of maturity into their tone. They sound like little boys. They're off-beat and technically wrong. Their blend is all right, I suppose, but their diction is poor. It's hard to understand them.
