Paul’s contradicted & undermines the teachings attributed to Jesus. This admitted persecutor of Christians found a more effective way to subvert the followers of Jesus. Heinfiltrated their ranks & taught a doctrine that opposed Jesus, replacing Jesus’ teaching of universal compassionate action with a selfish teaching of desire to gain a “free gift” of salvation based only on faith and completely devoid of any behavioral requirement or obedience to law, distracting us from the teachings of Jesus.
The false claim in eternal life in John 3:16 is given even more credence as it was preached to the superstitious and mostly literate masses of the Greco-Roman empire to gain fast converts in a ancient world that swam in a sea of religions and promises of hope. End the end; it was Christianity which out sold its fellow religions with verses like John 3:16 which gave more hope to its superstitious world.
The so-called Christians today are simple-minded and lazy to look into the matter. So we'll do it for you: the word translated "world" in John 3:16 is the Greek word "kosmos." The word never means "every individual of mankind who ever lived." In fact, the word has at least seven different meanings in the scripture, depending on the context in which it's used.
If you read what the verse says, and read the context around the verse, you would find that the answer is right before your lying eyes.
Every so-called Christian in the world will cite John 3:16 as proof that God loves everyone. They don't have a clue what the verse means, and, under the guidance of the lying false prophets who make up the "Christian" landscape, twist it to mean what they want it to mean. We call that "wresting the scripture unto your own destruction." 2 Peter 3:16.
It seems that if you're going to base an entire lying theology on one part of a verse, you would atleast know what the verse means.
@BiblesOnLine Matthew 16:13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples "who do people say the son of Man is?" They replied "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets." "but what about you?" he asked. "who do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered "you are the Christ, the Son of the living GOD." Jesus replied "Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but..........

Think, it is not illegal to think please.
Why did Jews want to kill Jesus?
Jews accuse Jesus of committing blasphemy calling himself (Messiah) prophet of God.
If the Jews succeed killing Jesus then Jesus was an imposter.
If the Jews failed to kill him then Jesus was a prophet of God.
I and the Father are one. John 10:30-36
This is what Jesus was telling the Jews ("Whoever obeys the Messenger of God, he indeed obeys God")
