everytime this comes on, i play the whole solo with my hands banging on whatever is near me. and i always get it 100% everytime

@Friendpersonkid Yeah I guess. There were and still are better drummers than Ringo, but I'd have to admit that what he added to the band was fairly unique for the time.
-
@hippymonkmon It means, other people make just regular beats. Just the regular generic drum beats that go with pretty much every song you listen to. But Ringo drums in a way that you can recognize the song without the rest of the instruments.

@Friendpersonkid What the hell is that supposed to mean?
-
@Friendpersonkid thank you!!! Atleast someone recognizes how great he is.

I find it ironic how the top comment highlights the fact why Ringo Starr was never a special drummer. He kept time and that was it. There was no other influence in his playing he was simply 'time keeper'. He didn't add anything else to the music unlike say a Ginger Baker or Keith Moon.
'He wasn't following the guys, the guys were following him'
Haha I almost fell of my chair reading that, I don't think I've ever read anything so cheesy in my life! Starr=Most Overrated Ever?!!

HEY GUYS,THAT WASN'T RINGO.PAUL PLAYS THIS SOLO!

-
this is where keith moon got the solo for WONT GET FOOLED AGAIN!
-
@xDeadMisfitsx Chuck Watts definatly had some creative beats.
The difference between ringo and other drummers, is that drummers make beats with their drums and Ringo somehow, makes music.

Only idiots that know absolutely nothing about music and drumming don't realize what an amazing drummer Ringo is.
