Dr. Tim Ball joined The Corbett Report recently to discuss the British Columbian government's new budget, which levies a carbon tax on the province, and an upcoming conference in New York sponsored by the Heartland Institute which will hear from some of the many scientists who don't believe that manmade global warming is occurring. • Message from a BC'er I want my Carbon Tax money back, PRONTO.

  • And thanks to the leaked emails, we now know that this was all a big scam! And I hope they never catch the people that leaked the emails, if they do then we should demand for their release!

p.s Co2 translates to Carbon Dioxide... Trees take Co2 and convert it to oxygen!!

That last part is for the severely stupid, I don't blame you though, not enough school funding.

  • well what they will do with the money, hwo they will save the world ? filtering the air? lol they just want more money to put in theyr poket politics are corrupt doesn't matter wich country we are.

we already paing for what we eat, were we live we pay tax for averyting. axample a 20dollars tequila call Don Julio is been sell in canada for 95 dollars maybe 10 for the delivery so is almost 65 dollars that they get for free where is the money going

  • According to the BC gov website, "Since the carbon tax was introduced on July 1, 2008, some $848m has been collected." of the taxes collected, these were distributed to low income families, and businesses. What has this done to reduce or eliminate carbon from BC? very little. The plan is to keep raising the tax!!..the result will be higher energy costs..costs from business will be passed to the consumer, who will be paying more to heat their homes, and get to work..how does this reduce C02???

  • "Trees cause more pollution than automobiles" - Ronald Reagan

  • Why, because it gives the government a reason to tax us to death and the people will yell, give us more.

All of the carbon phonies are making big money off of us and we take it like good little children.

CO2 is not polution, it is food for plants, lets stop fighting CO2 and fight real polution like cities dumping their sewage into the ocean (Victoria B.C.). Our sun determines what our temperature will be and we can do nothing about it.

  • eveable, I believe you, we know that every commercial green house has CO2 generators to bring the level up to 1000 PPM to encourage plant growth.

Idiots like Al Gore are just in it for the money and people are like sheep, they just follow the noise.

  • If CO2 levels drop below 180 PPM, all the plants will die. CO2 has nothing to do with the earth's temperature. If you want to fight polution, that is fine but fighting CO2 is crazy. We could live fine with levels of over 1000 PPM and the world's plant life would be very healthy.

Our weather is controlled by the sun, kso stop wasting time and money on CO2.

  • What's incredible about this whole issue is the sheep like behavior of the general public. There is clearly still allot of room for debate on this issue but the governments of the world have decided to cut funding to anyone now who disagrees with them. If just 1 in 100 experts told you not to take a diet pill you'd want to know why. So why are we so easily convinced on climate change when so many prominent climatologists are speaking up?
