Here is a little video I made with my new camcorder. It shows that you don't need to have a HD camcorder when you are not obsessed with the best quality.
I bought this camcorder for my USA roadtrip in September and I think it will do just fine.
BTW those are my neighbors ducks, aren't they cute? :)

  • i have this cam but when i upload to youtube it doesn't look this clear, any clues y?

  • dont know really, only thing I can tell you is that I film in 16:9 and import the video via iMovie on my MacBook. I recently finished to edit my US roadtrip video, and the quality is alot better compared to a friends cam which uses mini dvds...

  • grrr your video is awesome i have the same camera how do you make it full video scrren on youtube like yours?

  • make sure u are filming with ur settings set on highest details, then it should work just fine, for me it did anyways. gl

  • is this camera compatible with other lenses? I'm thinking about buying one and if i get one i want to buy a wide angle lense for it... (fisheye) Any help??

  • Yeah there is the possibility to put different lenses on it. Just a question of finding ones that fit. Thinking of buying a fisheye lense myself ;) But I am still looking for a cheap one.

  • Hey I have this cam and love it but I am not sure if the quality is good for a DVD, I am filming a full length soon and was wondering how the quality looks on TV... any advice?

  • You don't have to be "obsessed" with high quality footage like you claimed HD users... but some people are of different caliber in a different stage of the video process, no sense in bashing them for their profession or desire for a good quality image.

Quit bashing HD until you know what your talking about.

  • how lang can you film with one full battery?

  • @squiresuzuki

If is not HD so it can not be of 16.9 which means must have the :( AVCHD system,1920-1080),if I understood well with all I read in Jvc site and pixmania.I had before Sony DVD 306E Dolby Digital;Jvc Everio pretends giving also the same sound recording...

anybody tried Jvc Everio K2 sound system?

    Thanks,

    Poicpi

  • does it shoot at 720p or just 16:9?

  • I have the same camera. My videos were never this good. How did you get the video footage to come out like this?

  • what do you edit with and what render settings do you use?

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spread rosemary sprigs and garlic cloves into a 9x13-inch dish.

    2. Place duck on top of rosemary, sprinkle with salt. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Bring the wine to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the currant jelly. Reduce heat, simmer 5 minutes; set aside.

    3. After 1 hr, pour off and discard the fat. Pour the wine sauce over the duck legs, and bake 15 minutes until the duck is very tender and the sauce has thickened slightly. MMMMMMM
