  • hey man just wondering if you have any more vids of dissassembling this motor because i have to switch one of the case halfs on my quad (which is also an 03 z 400) and any more dissassembly vids would be greatly apprecitated

  • with that, i would highly recomend getting a clymers repair manual for this quad. there awesome and give excellent details on how to do this kind of stuff. plus i have no need to disasemble my motor any more cuz now i have to just replace some valves and put the motor back together

  • hahahh horrible fucking video. horrible you did so much in the wrong order

you took your header off after loosening the cylinder head...lol you dumbass you shouldnt be making tuturails if you cant get the basic steps down first buddy.

  • very good vid!!

  • @cogsy08laa there is a bolt under the motor and under the black tank in the front

  • hey my fan wouldnt turn on after riding for like 4 hrs any ideas?

  • Just wondering if you could tell me how much gear oil goes in the z400.Thanks.

  • when you put it back together did you use anything besides the new gaskets to seal it? i used all new gaskets and im getting coolant in the oil now. help is much apreciated.

  • Super helpful, thanks man!

  • How do you drain the oil on these.

  • Good quality vid man I got a tapping noise I can pull start it doesn't start with starter ill till it warms up. Do I need a new jug and piston or is there a better way

  • ok i will look at getting a manual. and thats fine, the chain came off on mine and smashed the part of the case that the shift rod comes out of so thats why i have to switch one of the case halfs, from what i hear that is a common problem with these atv's
