My buddy and I ran a BM/P '59 Plymouth, back in '68, with a 392" Chrysler, dual quads, 505 Isky roller, headers, balanced & blueprinted by Raceway Engineering (Whittier, Ca.). HOWEVER, we also had an Art Carr torkflite with the 7,000 RPM stall speed torque converter which was GUARANTEED to 7,000. Well, turned out to be a bad promise. I hit "drive" and it blew up like C-4. Split the dashboard, blew the right door off (fibreglass), broke my leg and destroyed the car. So watch Art's shit!

Nothing cooler than driving around town with cars that have drag chutes.

@bowtie0069 Wheelbase: Distance between the centre of the front and rear axles. Not length of the car.

Is that a 1965 Dodge Coronet driven behind the Chevy Nova?

Magnante is god
Yes it is.

i always thought wheelbase meant the width not the height, derp
zythepsarian 2 years ago
It's neither- it's length from front to rear--width is left to right. The cars sat higher to help weight transfer.

That one is all electronic--a computer keeps it driveable.

OK, so modern technology is adaptable. Are they the same injectors?

Same basic set-up with bungs welded in for the EFI stuff--computer controls fuel and timing.
