Things I did to prepare it for outdoor storage:
Removed the 30" Mower Deck
Changed the Oil in the 9HP Kawasaki
Cleaned the airfilter (Didn't need to be replaced)
Gapped/Cleaned spark plug
Remove Seat
Remove Battery
Remove tires

It is very important to maintain your machine regularaly to keep it in good shape,

  • my deck is 42in and dosent weigh 100 pounds

  • Wow you really stripped that thing down lol

  • Yeah, what I am going to do from now on (except in my 2-strokes) is only leave a very small amount of gas in the tank and then use my stabil in that. That way the carbs still wet but the old gas will run out very quickly and be replaced by the new,

    Thanks,

  • Yeah, I treasure my equipment. Watchout for some videos in the next few weeks... Stlouissux9119's garage may have gotten rid of some stuff and bought some new stuff. You'll see within the next few weeks. And yeah I greased everything up. All I should have to do is put the battery in, put the wheels on, put the deck on, put gas in it, put the seat on, and I should be ready to mow. Already sharpened the blade and everything!

    Thanks
