"Sounds of Blackness: Black Canadian Women Sing & Speak Out" is a project by Tara Burke, M.A. student in York University's Communication & Culture program. Under the direction of Daniel Drache, Acting Director of the Robarts Centre for Canadian Studies, this project examines the ways in which Black Canadian women use music to explore their identity.
