Speed Racer (Wii) - Theme / Concept Art Movie

NOTE: The REAL theme is in the movie. This is a Game exclusive theme, composed by Winifred Phillips.

XD Yeah, I guess the game was made before they had the rights to the themesong or whatever and so they made THIS instead. The movie DID manage to have the real theme in it, but the games did not. Various remix of this song are used throughout the games and the full vocal rendition is used for the credits. Yes, even on DS. Handily you can view the credits at any time.

ANYWAY! What you see here is the final prize for beating everything in Speed Racer for Wii: The Concept Art Movie...which is just the credits minus the credits. Still, it's worth uploading. They actually had Udon do the art and character designs for the game and there's alot of great art and designs in here. I *REALLY* wish Trixi wore that outfit in the film and Rosey Blaze (yellow outfit) is a really likeable character. I love her voice. ...and Revv (chick in black at the end) is basically Raven from Teen Titans.

Speaking of which, the chick in white next to Revv is the DS exclusive character (though I think she was added to the PS2 release) while Revv is the Wii exclusive character.

Anyway, it's a shame that they could create such a wonderfully cheesy themesong and most people will probably never hear it, so I figured I'd upload it to YouTube to show to people.

For the record, the movie was actually true to the series (despite taking liberties on the actual racing) and good FOR A SPEED RACER MOVIE. If you expect a deep plot and realistic characters in SPEED RACER, then there's something wrong with you. The games? Also surprisingly good! The DS one is REALLY impressive and the Wii one is good too. PS2 one is the only questionable one, basically being a port of the Wii one but with worse graphics, worse controls (seriously.), more bugs, but also afew new characters and a new course. At $20 though it isn't bad if you can't get it on Wii though, but the Wii one is superior.

Kellie "Gearbox" Kalinkov. She was in the movie in the Casa Cristo race. Speed had to use his tire shield against her if I recall correctly.

@theiceisnice Well mine is on the PS2, the PS2 has some bonus characters and a bonus track.. So they might be one of the bonus characters... If you don't have Scooter Dicky and Sam 'Lightning' Storm then I'm guessing you don't have Kakkoi Tepodama and Sweet Tooth Jangala... And the bonus track for PS2 is called Skordst..

@Shirako1 I've cleared all the speeds (1-3) and 4 (mirror) and still no sign of those characters. Not even any darkened silhouettes in the character select screen. Either I'm not doing something right or they're not in the game (I'm playing the Wii version). What about you? Have you unlocked them?

@theiceisnice The last three cars code will only unlock Mariana Zanja, Esther Rev Reddy and Denise Mobile.. You can unlock Scooter Dicky and Sam Storm by finishing the last couple of championships on Speed 3. Their one of the last people you can unlock.. I'm playin it on the PS2..

Forget 2:20, who's the guy at 1:34 and the blonde woman at 3:32?!? Is there any actual way to unlock them? I tried the "Last Three Cars" code, but that doesn't seem to do anything! (Does anyone even know what that code does anyway?)
