  • I usually dont read cartoons, but i think that this work was different..... THANKS BILL WATTERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • We don't know what causes events to happen. History is a fiction we invent to persuade ourselves that events are knowable and that life has order and direction. That's why events are reinterpreted when values change. We need new versions of history to allow our current prejudices. - Calvin

  • i'm bill waterson's number one fan, I have wall paper of calvin and hobbes, I have all his books, I sent letters to him, and his brother teaches at my brother's school! This is awsome! I'm crazy for calvin and hobbes and I'm so the mumber one fan! I love it and I'll make a comic one day!

  • DUDE ITS BILL WATTERSON

  • i started readin his strip in a book of his that had a whole bunch of strips of his in it. that was about a year ago. since then i havent stopped. I LOVE CALVIN AND HOBBES!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Watterson is a fairly cynical man. I mean as a teen I was a HUGE fan of C&H and until I grew up never understood why he quit. Come about 5 years back I grew to understand his reasons. His fight to keep the strip from being licensed and his stress over it's success drove him to the edge.

  • right on!..I've got a six yr old boy who just built his first transmogrifier...BW rox, we love him.

  • I read Calvin and Hobbes as a young child and it honestly had a part in shaping the views I had about the world, about the power of imagination, and about nature. Thank you so much to Sam Watterson for being an amazing influence in a world full of bad ones.
