Cut-in pressure must not be lower than 85 psi, Low pressure warning device must go off at between 55 to 75 psi (California standards) :Part 2 of the Air-Brake system inspection for a Commercial Driver's License Class A or Class B License.

  • Yes, it is best if you do it . We did not include it on this video because it was removed from the Pre-trip several year ago, and in the area that we are in they do not ask for it. We do recognize the current California DMV (2010-2011).

    After you perform the Low pressure warning device, keep on pumping the brake, until the pressure falls below 45 psi, and the brake should pup out. The range is usually 25-45 psi. As always we recommend going by the DMV book.

  • you for got to pump your brakes so that the service and the emergency brake can pop out at 20 to 30 pis......your giving false information
