Brighter Days

Brighter Days, a short animated film by director Daniel McGarrigle chronicling the life of his grandfather Colm Melly (born 1923). Narrated by Colm Melly, the film is part of the "Sharing Stories" project, a collaboration between the Regional Cultural Centre in Donegal and the Nerve Centre in Derry, Northern Ireland.

What a lovely little film  im 72 now and remember these boys who built our roads and many other things and how hard they worked the irish men i talk of were the ones that worked around Harlow new town essex
