Learn how to lay a wash, paint convincing figures in a landscape and capture an outdoor scene simply with style. He covers such topics as composition, colour mixing and brush techniques.
Andrew is a gifted teacher whose courses are always popular. His teaching style is gentle and supportive. This DVD is aimed at someone who is relatively new to watercolour or feels that they need to really get to grips with the basics of this fascinating medium.

Andrew,
I love your work and your teaching of technique. Question: In the painting above, did you start with a wet canvas and apply washes from blue at the top, etc.? Or are you working basically with diluted paint on dry canvas? Thanks.

Interesting and thanks for the insight.
Makes me want to paint similar scenes. Trouble is I am miles away from anything anywhere near as 'picturesque'! I can find nice subjects, but the pictures stay on my wall, because 'art-lovers' want only works they can relate to Wesson & Co. :) That's the penalty of starting to paint, after I had decided where to live!
Thanks again Andrew
