Random Acts of Kindness Challenge (10.10.07)

Day after day we see random acts of violence in the news. At times, I wonder if our just hasn't gone to hell in a handbasket. And I start to wonder what we can do when it seems like such negativity exists.

Here's what I propose: Let's take it back. Let's bring some positivity back. Let's bring some goodness and happiness back. We all have the power to change this world. One tiny step at a time. We get to carry each other.

Random acts of kindness. Let it spread like wildfire.

i live in San Antonio, Tx and recently on the news there was a story about a woman who killed her 12 month old baby and she ate him. she blamed it on the "devil" saying he made her do it. they even got the father of the baby to talk w/ them and he said that the whole time she was losing her mind he was trying to get custody of the child and she never let him. and with that being said i wanna say that the world is becoming a bitter place but we can change that. <3

I love the idea of this challenge. This is for all the people out there who want to accept this challenge who maybe don't know where to start. I want to spread kindness around the world and I started a Facebook page to do just that. It's called Daily Challenges of Kindness, and I would appreciate it if you would at least take a look at it. Every morning, a challenge of kindness is posted for you to enact throughout your day and spread love through your love. We can do this!

@Rellizate mentally ill people do not need arms of any kind, this is the reason for many states establishing requirements for gun ownership. Not too many people disagree with it either. Chances are if this guy was tested he would stand trial as a competent individual. No matter how deranged his ethos might be. Definition of the law of insanity is an unknowing compulsion that is inherent in mentally ill people. This guy planned this one. He is sane and should be thrown under the jail.

@Flayprime Yeah I would probably say that defence is a right.. I wouldn't outlaw everything that could be used as weapons because that's ridiculous. However, I would outlaw things which are only used for weapons; such as guns, rocket launchers, tanks, grenades.. I wouldn't allow someone to saw my head off; but nobody that I know even know of has been in a situatino like this. If this isn't the same as for you, then my point is even more relevant;as you should try to keep the psycos armless
