both have sund. But i pregere depth and sodtness in voice of kishore. i do not think rafi could have done justice to zindagi ka safar, yeh jeevan hai, aanewala pal etc may be similalry kishore could not have done justice to madhuban me. the nafart ki duniya ko chodeke stry is rubbish. please refer to interview of pyarelal on net " the song right from beginning was planned and conceived for Rafi to sing.

noorjahan was the best but unfortunately shae moved to pakistan after the partition.rafi had greaty respect for her .when he started singing with noorjahan he was nervous but she encouraged him and thats why all new singers werw at ease when singing with rafi.

This song for the first time i have listened in king of the king m rafi,s voice along with the legend of legend kishore kumar, and it is impossible to tell who sang better, both are like sun and moon of sur sangeet, you take any one of them out and sur sangeet become extinct on planet earth

Very true about Rafi..but on lLata, i think Madam Norr Jehan would have buried her any day! they both had great songs, but as Lata stated: " there are songs of Noor Jehan that i could never sing...they are too complicated" !!...Rafi is untouchable of course..no debate there!!

Indeed quotes such the one you mention ("today you have sung better than rafi") from narrow-minded fanatics are SHEER NONSENSE !
