i have no idea who this new yorker interviewer dude is but he is as fake as a 3 dollar bill .. so Tom Waits acted that way on purpose...his way of saying..fuck you haha good ol' Mr. Waits.

Aichigurh. That's harsh. I think he does a pretty good job. Obviously the interview style is a little out of date but this was 30 years ago. I think it stands up pretty well. The respectful introduction gives him license to take this piss a bit. I think it's a good interview. Tom's not the easiest guy to get answers from. Though the Leprechaun gag was pretty rubbish.
