  • this video suxxs and english is the most spoken language in the world.

the numbers of chinese dont count!

go to a land of your choice try to speak chinese and then try to speak english... what do think will bring success... ahh right.

  • Really? How about going to China. Surely there'll be lots of people speaking chinese.

Besides, one fifth of the world population is chinese, so it's statistically more probable to find someone who speaks chinese than someone who speaks english.

  • you are right, if you count Chinese as one single language. try speaking Cantonese in a Mandarin speaking region though. compare that to speaking Irish-English in Australia.

besides, you should not just count the amount of native speakers. statistically, it's more probable to find a none native who speaks English than Chinese. thats why they call it a "world-wide-language".

  • True. I admit everything you say is true. I'd like to add, though, that its simpleness makes it easier to be learnt by people whose native language is not English, which is not the case for Spanish.

  • WHAT???? LAUNGUAGE IS THIS

  • Spanish. It's the third most spoken language in the world. And English is not the most spoken one; it comes after Chinese.

  • @hieronet woooow. This why people think people in America are selfish idiots, you. English isnt close to being the most common language. Spanish is more common and im sure there are others. And the Chinese DO count. Btw, im American, just not as stupid.

  • @hieronet shut up racist

  • wtf? this video sucks

  • @73nk I am of Chinese descent and was born in Aus, Mandarin is the most spoken language, I think they don't count the different dialects, but yes, English is more widespread, that would be because the Brittish (who spoke English) travelled all over the world and took over many parts of it, Australia, India, Hong Kong, Canada, Ameria once upon a time, hence why these places all have English spoken in them, admittedly, not that much in India or HK, but it's still taught there..

    I can speak both ;)

  • @73nk well, they say chinese, then spanish and then english

  • goooooood
