Dunwoody College's Elftmann Success Center invites you to enhance your learning of inductors. For more tutoring videos, including the same topic presented with a different approach, see http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=275D63C4D35436DD.
There is a book which will easily and quickly help anyone to bend any degree of angle from 0 to 180 degrees, with any size bender. All bends will be precise; a 37 degree bend will measure 37 degrees! All bends will look professional. Gain is easily understood for any bend with any size bender! Information about the easiest to understand book which can be used by anyone to become an accomplished conduit, tube or pipe bender can be found on a youtube website at /t04041951
I am currently building a concentric 1 inch rigid rack around a Stator in a Nuclear Plant. I had to break open my UGLY book since I hadnt bent a concentric bend in 20 years ! LOL ! It turned out Great ! I had to bend the Conduit every 7 1/2 inches at 5 degrees ! Thank Goodness for No Dogs !
i have a question if the gain changes with emt size for ex if its a 1/2 inch its 5 inch if its a 3/4 inch its a 6 inch does the multiplier and shrinkedg change as well or do these values apply to all emt size
@lopytube I think your choice of words is appropriate considering the large number of incompetent “educators” on the loose. Truly, credentials make not a teacher. Educated students are the fruit of the authentic educator. I’m certain that Polly Friendshuh could teach anything she put her mind to. She is also a Youth Soccer Program Director- See Linkedin.

On small obstructions of 1" or less I use 22 1/2 degree for center and 10 degrees on the outside bends. Multiplier is 6 inches.
