but we had a girl band sing thiss not sandy and cha cha
it still one of the best versions i've seen we had the same arrangment with the song

Really nice harmonies, ladies -- this version of the song is superior to others posted here for that very reason: you capture the mood and the emotion the song is supposed to evoke by counterbalancing the voices so well. Thanks for sharing.

this is REALLY cool. seriously. my director WANTS to cut it because it's so hard to sing (I'm in junior high), but he didn't so I'm trying to learn how to do it right! I am playing Cha Cha!!! :)

we did it and it was in the middle of the Dance and the lights dimmed and Sandy walked out in a bath robe and Sang upstage center while we all kept dancing as if it was one of the songs the band played

im going to be cha cha in grease in june and i wanted to hear a rendetion of this song to get an artistic feel for it and so far, this is the best i have seen! good job!

when my schoold did theis they had a girl playing the original singer on the radio, i've also seen a prodction with jan singing this son

Because ChaCha is written to sing it. Typically, it's from off stage, but our director did it differently. Besides, we couldn't let our ChaCha's voice go to waste.
