how do you hook up the machinedrum to play your synths? can you do polyphony with them, its hard to hear in the vid

the MD is on my Motu MidiTimePiece. The MTP patches the MD to any midi capable synth in my studio. The MD's midi tracks are capable of triggering up to three notes per trigger. If I want to play polyphonically, I just use multiple MD midi tracks all being sent to the same midi channel.
