Just a video showing y'all how I secure the screws in my blades... works well for any stubborn screw that doesn't want to stay where you put it.

  • @TheCountrystuff13

You're welcome, thank you for watching it.

Well I love my Spyderco Enduras, have used one for over a decade with great results. There's the Cold Steel Recon 1, AK-47, and Lawman... all great blades. The Kershaw Blur is a good one as well. I have videos on the Trident, the Blur, Enduras, The AK-47 and Recon 1.

It mainly depends on how tough you want it and what tasks it will be doing primarily.

The toughest ones would be some of the Cold Steels, but the Enduras have better blade steel... depends on what you're in the market for really.

  • So helpful! Thank you man!

  • Yeah I agree... it's not a big deal at all really, and overall I much prefer the new Recon 1's.

I like them both, but if I had to keep one of course it's going to be the newer one.

I had the clip point TriAd lock version... I have some videos on it too... but I ended up trading it for something I wanted more a while back. It was a great blade shape though for sure.

  • @X4CTO I think the thumb stud to deploy the Triad lock is pretty solid, so the extra tiny bit of speed of the UltraLock/Axis isn't a big deal for me. Although, it would be nice to have the Ultralock just from a collector's perspective. I might have to pick up the triad lock version with the clip point blade. Good vids!

  • I have the old Recon 1 with the Ultra Lock... I am actually thinking of selling it soon. I am thinking of having a knife sale, not sure which ones yet though.

I love the TriAd lock for sure... but I will agree that the Recons with Ultra Locks are faster to deploy. I actually have a video talking about just that and showing some gravity open options with both locks. =)
