  • I'd love to see a better video too (certainly not of this performance). Something tells me that if you had taken months to prepare this, it wouldn't be much better - perhaps it would be up to tempo. You'd need a year to fix the fundamentally warped soprano players who scoop pitches like this is some hideous jazz chart. You could also afford to take some of those lows out to the pasture and put them down. Good lord, it sounds like a construction site.

  • well thanks for your input i guess? not that it makes a difference...

  • geesh chill. i'd love to see a better video. i thought we did pretty good for practicing this only a few hours before for the first time.

  • I love how you can see Matt Harris' hair the whole time!!! HAHAHAHA

  • I like this interpretation, though it could use a speed boost and maybe a stronger melody line? I love the tonality though, and the dance feel. In the B section, I feel like the climaxes could have been more emphasized, but in general great job!

  • i played in this and am a student at CMU. i think its funny that you criticize a band of mostly high school students and older amateurs for having fun. also ill have you know that this is directed by John Nichol, John Sampen is playing in this ensemble and i believe Joe Lulloff is too. do you know what fun is? you should try not being an overly critical dick even if its just this one time.

  • Laser beams and ham sandwiches it's Edvard Grieg und ze Wedding!

  • Horrible. Way too slow. Stylistically inaccurate. Numerous intonation issues. Who's disastrous idea was it to place all of those amateur soprano players in one room? Good god - and does John Deere make Bass saxophones now?

  • I was one of the first tenors :)

  • Haha I played bari in this!
