TOM's Farewell: the End of Toonami

After 11 Years, The Toonami block on Cartoon Network has ended.

This is a departure from what I usually upload. Why?

Because Toonami was my Childhood. I watched from the first episode, all the way to the Saturday change, which I even watched. Toonami introduced me to animes, the first being DBZ. And now I'm a fan of them. Back when Tom was the white and blue spaceman looking robot, back when it was 4 hours and on Friday's. It has changed so much though...but it'll always be in my heart. It and Adult Swim were the reasons to watch that channel and now.....yeah.

R.I.P Toonami: 1997-2008

I honestly didn't think I was that old until watching this. When we see our parents watching old TV shows we don't quite understand how they enjoy it. I now know why. It is because we all grow up with a different generation of popular shows. I read all these comments on all these videos saying that CN is dead, but that's not the case at all. They are just applying their network to a range of comedy suited to a different generation. All I know is we need to remember what our generation was about.

I still remember sometimes waking up at midnight and watching Toonami when it was on then. I kept watching and found really cool shows. Toonami introduced me to Rururo Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragonball and Dragonball Z. Toonami actually ended on my sixteenth birthday and I was still watching it. I wish it would come back.

i agree colaman. and even though we still might think the t.v shows now suck, i know my son will be talking about it like its the best thing ever. just like i talked about it when i was 3'7 and wore tidy widy's. (all nerdy style) hahah :P
