  • so what difference did you feel between stock and big bore? arnt there even bigger bores? ive googled something about 600cc. im interested in them but i dont really know are they worth it cause the stock is allready pretty good.

  • @beeqool the difference is night and days between when it was stock at 450 and big bore 570 + cam/exhaust , it became a rocket ship with TONS of torque everywhere. Deff worth the price. 600 is a 570 big bore with a stroked crank , even more power and torque.

to really exploit the bigbore potential you need exhaust/cam + porting/bored carb for maximum gain. i was in the way of getting my head ported and by carb bored but i sold the bike to buy a '11 300 xc-w

  • @praisedtimon whats faster the 570 xc or the xc-w 300?

  • @TheHammer209 the 570 was fast . . . for an ATV but the 300 is way faster in every way.

  • @beeqool stock = reliable. thumper racing = gamble

  • @gilessmokey i have to dissagree , my 570 was build with a 120 hours bottom end , the 570 now have 200 hours on the stock top end(570) and 320 hours+ on the bottom end. No oil burning , valve stil in spec. I know that because i stay in contact with the guy that brought it. oh yeah , and it's still the stock valve train.

  • Your front tires are gone .

  • anyone else tring to look up the whole time lol, like he said need to be tilted up lol, looks fast, is that a big bore kit for 450 or 525?

  • @praisedtimon continued.yes the ring expander broke twice more,it was then that thumper racing came up with a redesigned ring set, which solved that problem. thumper racing 280 kit required the yam barrel to be bored and replated, this made the lower protrusion too thin which eventually broke totally trashing barrel and crankshaft etc..i had then to totally rebuild the engine top and bottom and put it back to std,no trouble since. what i don`t like is that thumper racing made a mess and not help

  • @praisedtimon hi there, why i said thumper racing kit is a gamble is because i fitted their 28o kit to yam wr250 which would be ok for about ten hours and then burn much oil. thumper racing (to save their ass) blame the fitter (me) but what was happening was the ends of the oil ring expander were made at right angles and that was the breakage point,i could see it at the time and explained it to them and that the expander needed redesigning, but they sent another set and same thing happened twice

  • @praisedtimon thanks i thought it would be.

  • ahaaa russian beer run
