  • Excellent. I am now adicted to this subject. LOL.

Imagine an internal combustion engine crank and open head cylinders. Say in a straight 6 cylinder car motor. If you banked up 6 of these in a geared timing the lift could pull up and down the push rods of the motor. this will run a generator and output electricity. or even a Crank wheel like an old locomotive set up would be simpler.

  • @eckyspondoolie That is a mouth full. "BUT", You are absolutly 100% Correct

  • Two stage pendulum principle:

    1. no exotic energy involved here

    2. no greater output then input

    3. can NEVER be used for PRACTICAL comuting, except for cable cars (bicycle is practical even though it is inferior to the pendulum when it comes to energy eficiency).

But precisely because of this ineficiency bicycle works well. However - other application of the pendulum are possible and will work great- lifting weights, pump water, river crossing if no bridge etc)

  • @acogymyoutu, Thank you sir for your comments. For; even though you had some negative ones, you also put in positive ones. THAT; is what I call comstructive crita sizum.

If indeed the machine does not put out more work than is put in. It would still have great value to a third world farmer who could not afford the fuel for an iragation pump if you gave him the pump.

  • @acogymyoutu, This machine CAN be set up to rum like a grandFarther clock with pullies and weights. Loaded with a chainfall in the morning and run all day with no-one there. The farmer could go about other chores while his fields are being watered.

  • here is no perpetual oscillations. swinging amplitude decreasing. look closely and you noticed it

  • I am not exactly sure what it is you are trying to say. BUT;;; It sounds a little like , you mist the whole point of this video.

  • Couldn't you replace your hand with a sprung sheet of metal on a bracket?

  • @RHEAD100

    Pendulum to Rotary Power

(a youtube clip is very good.)

Imagine one of these with some magnet assist.

  • Actually there is a model of gravity that accounts for the behavior of this mechanical oscillator.

Specifically, look at the path traced by the pendulum while its moving attached to the swinging arm. Its a cycloid.

  • i have an invention similar to this, and if you contact me i will let you do a video on it possibly.

  • Great job, it is better video 6...

  • Hello, what if you change the chains on the weigh for bars, with some kind of latch; in this way, the weigh will be up an inch or so on any cycle.

    Sorry about my english...

    Good job.
