@ZeeEthioboy Nah men, you aint right 'bout this..this artist has more customers in 1 day, then you will get in 1 year, he a real one, still rock them needles oldschool, like an artist supposed to do!
im going to be truth. this tattoo sucks. !!!! look at the hand, it loooks cripy amd the text under is not as good. im an artis. so i tattoo. this is like 2 of 10. i do 10 of 10.
@303inks 9rl's are a bit thick for a majority of tattoos. i use 8rl on big pieces I.E back pieces some sleeve work and some script depending how big the lettering is.. id say 5rl are the perfect needle but again like migueltattoo1000 said every artist has there own way! most tattooists use bigger needles because ya less likely to get wobbles with a bigger needle.. 3rl liners are quite hard to use but give a super crisp line. all depends on the size an placement of your design.. hope that helps.
@303inks , it really depends on the job you are doing my friend. Like in the video above, on some parts the 9rl would be too much! I prefer to build my lines from a 3rl or a 5rl and go back if I need to. When using the 3rl I actually do it like I'm drawing to make all the curves smooth but solid.
Hope I helped but every artist has his own way of tattoing and his workarounds...
