@ChevroletCaprice9C1 The B chord is usually played as an E shaped barre chord on fret 7 or as an A shaped barre chord on fret 2 (2nd string), and the F chord is normally played as an E shaped barre chord on fret 1, or as an A shaped barre chord on fret 8 (2nd string)... cos they ain't open chords.

@coolioto Here's my take.... These are the basic open major chord shapes. The open C chord has a certain shape. The open A chord has a certain shape, so does the open G chord, etc. The CAGED "system" just shows you how these shapes are all connected when they are played as inversions of the same chord. You can play a C chord as an A shape, a G shape, an E shape, and a D shape, and same goes for all other major chords. You can play them all using those different inversion shapes and they connect.

F is the E form at the first position.
B is the A form, 2nd position.
They are included, but as what they are - one of the CAGED forms in another position.
-
because B use the same shape as C and F use the same shape as E but #, got it?

What is the fucking caged system?????!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it just the system whereby a visual representation of the fret board is used to show finger choice and position for any chords?

CAGED just means C major, Amaj, Gmaj, Emaj, Dmaj, chords and where to use them all over the fretboard dude.
