Bob (Bob McGrath) sings the famous song by Jeff Moss, and introduces teachers (Frank Oz & Jerry Nelson) and a newsdealer (Jim Henson).
By this point (1971) the people in your neighborhood would arrive already assembled, unlike the earliest episodes where Bob would have to build them out of generic "Anything People".

I've actually been trying to come up with one for this song about the security guard, because I happen to be one. Here's what I came up with so far, but it's not final yet.
A security guard works day and night to make sure everything's alright I'll work and work making my round to make sure the buildings safe and sound
@muppetfan33 Hey, that's very very clever. Why don't send that to Sesame Workshop? I bet they'll like it, and even today they still do this song once in a while..
This song used to and still to this day fills my life with joy and happiness! The song has a nice beat and Bob in my opinion is an adorable person and wonderful human being. This was one of my favorite Sesame Street clips and love the way he eye-winks at the end of the video.

Shows like ZOOM that actively seek material from the general public are a rare exception.
Thanks!!!
