  • Superb, seemingly effortless solo from JJ. Superb guitarist.

  • You're a great pianist Jools - but all you prove here is that Cocaine s a guitar song.

  • I think Jooles is doing quite a good job given that this is, as rightly said, a guitar song.

To my knowledge, Jooles best solo is with The The - check out Uncertain Smile from The The's record Soul Mining.

  • J.J. "The Real Deal" Cale."

  • Don't think he looked at his fingers once during that! Amazing.

  • What a band.Christine Lakeland never gets the credit she deserves.

  • Always liked JJ's version much better than Clapton's by a long shot.

  • jools playing with you = kiss of death.

  • jesus this must be an old clip jools is young and thin!

  • jj cale,brilliant

  • sweet rendition, from the simple straight forward man that wrote it.

  • Jools's gonna tickle the ivories for us now... CLASSIC

  • What a bloody stiff interviewer Holland is! What a great lost opportunity.Shame. And that thin high voice sure ain't made for broadcasting...

  • @stumpy25lbs October 1994 - when JJ was doing his European tour. I saw him at the Hammersmith Apollo in London. Great, great gig.

  • when was this? - Holland looks really young

  • Bill Raffensperger is so cool. With no drama at all that fluid, spot on rhythm just flows like poetry. Playing like that is rare...

  • Hope he's got a better drummer by now.

  • yeah, whatvaking radio spede is factory or what?

  • @Jeffreydcampbell Ha ha.....i thought that was a British expression.

  • @zthetha Yep, it is.
