Joe: I still love you. Come back.-----selena?
Selena: *throws her phone*
Joe: *realized she hung up* *tears fall*
NEXT DAY in California(Joe)
Joe: *stared at selenas house*
Neighbor: hey kid.
Joe: Im not a kid.
Neighbor: well, I just want to ask if theres anything I can do to help you.
Joe: you know what? Nothing! Youre just a random neighbor!
Neighbor: I dont know what your problem is but I want you to know, no one lives there anymore. The Gomezs left. The girl left the day before yesterday and Mr. Gomez left this midnight.
Joe: *turns around and walks toward school*
Olympic forest, Washington (Selena)
Steve(Selenas dad): hey sweetie!
Selena: *sipping tea with her grandma* hey dad! *hugs him*
Steve: Ive missed you.
Selena: we were apart for only a day.
Steve: yeah, but so what? Youre still my baby girl! *hugs her*
Grandma: enough, steve! Say hi to your mother-in-law.
Steve: oh, yeah. Hey mom. *kisses her cheek*
Grandma: you guys stay here. Ill ask the staff to prepare breakfast.
Selena: its amazing here, dad. Were like super rich. We own a lodge in the forest with pools, restaurant, lake, river and a great view!
Steve: selena, we dont own them, your grandma does. Were just here to get over with a problem of yours. Well go back the moment youre fine.
Grandma: no. selena is my only granddaughter and the only child of my only daughter. Whatever is mine is hers. The Russos River Lodge is ours.
Selena: yay! thanks. I think Ill enjoy my life here.
Grandma: you sure will, selena. Now, follow me at the restaurant to have some breakfast. Im sure your father is hungry.
Steve: not so. *tummy grumbles*
Grandma: yeah, right. *leaves*
Selena: *giggles* dad.
Steve: hmm? *sips sels tea*
Selena: I think I want to stay here.
Steve: sure, darling. Im here to help you get over as soon as possible. I want my old baby back.
Selena: thanks. But I meant, for real. I want us to stay here for the rest of our lives. Yesterday, I had fun watching families and couples enjoying their stay here and touring the forest.
Steve: *gulped* you sure about that honey?
Selena: yeah?
Steve: *speechless*
Selena: well, if you want to go back to California, thats fine. Ill just visit you.
Steve: no. Ill be happy to stay here. Ill work here while you continue your studies.
Selena: yeah. Im going to be a major in natural science resource. Ill have my own office here and be a private tourist guide for private people after college.
Steve: great. That sounds like a plan, baby girl. *kisses her forehead*
Selena: *giggles* Im not a baby anymore, dad. *straightens her face* Im going to prove that to everybody at the right time. It wont be long. Im going to prove it face to face to one person---Joseph Jonas.
California
Joe: *sits in his seat and stares at the empty seat in front of him, selenas*
Demi: joe?
Joe: not now.
Demi: *bites her lip* but---
Joe: *shouts*I said I want to be alone!
Everybody: *stares at them*
Demi: *looks at everybody then to joe* get over it, joe! Get over her! Shes gone. Selena left you. Shes not brave enough to fight for you.
Joe: thats not true. She needed time and space.
Demi: youre a fool! Do you think shell ever come back to you? She never will! Shes gone for good! Look, at you. Youre like a hopeless man with no dreams. Youre empty. You have nothing.
Joe: why are you saying all these?
Demi: coz its the truth.
Joe: *looks down* I have nothing?
Demi: no. you have me.
Joe: no. I dont have you. I dont want you.
Demi: *tears fall down* what is wrong with you? You still love her? she used you then she left you.
Joe: because I was heartless.
Demi: joe! *hugs him*
Joe: *pulls away* i---I need to go.
Miley: you still have classes.
Joe: *looks at miley*
Miley: *looks up* selena wouldnt want you to skip classes. She wants both of you to have a good future ahead of you.
Joe: she does not want that for me anymore. Im not in her world anymore.
Miley: yeah, she left. I dont even know where she is. She wont reply. But that doesnt mean our friendship just vanished. It is still there, I know it and so does she. The same goes with what you feel for her. Show her that leaving wasnt the right choice. She would want you to move on, joe. Move forward. Dont wait for the past to come back coz it never will.
Joe: you want me to move on like nothing happened? I love her.
Miley: the hell, joe! Why didnt you tell her? you just realized shes important now that shes gone? What goes around comes around.
Joe: *straight face*
Miley: I want to be mad at you for hurting selena and forcing her to leave but a part of me is saying that I have to do something for the two of you to become the way you were.
Joe: i---Im sorry for everything.
Miley: it wont do anything. Save it, joe.
Joe: I will. When Im over with this feeling, Ill have the courage to come up to her and be friends again.
