@dooli1981 I have "The Wharton's Stretch Book". Some reviews state that it is a poorly done, direct rip-off of the original by Mattes. However it goes into detail answering your question specifically. There are a whole list of sports and each has its own recommended regimen consisting of some of the stretches. You do the required stretches for sport(s) you happen to be doing.
@dooli1981 your choice, but i would say it shows stretches for isolating certain muscle/muscle groups. so stretch the tight ones alittle more and supporting mucles.
I bought a copy of Aarom Mattes "Specific stretching for everyone". I was just confused whether we should be doing every stretch in that book everyday or will it be dependent on what activities you're about to do for the day? Does anyone know?
Great stretch. Stretching these bigger muscles is great to lengthen the spine.
