Love the video.. I like watching videos of abandoned railway bridges and tunnels, to me it fascinates me that at one point in time trains use to run through them. Couple of facts about this tunnel; Built by the Norfolk & Western Railroad on their Kenova District which is part of the Pocahontas District. The new 1926 Tunnels 7 (the current tunnel being used) was built when the N&W double tracked the line until 1954 when they ripped up one of the lines and it once became single tracked.

Well, it wasn't made by Norfolk and Southern, which didn't exist until 1982. I'm looking for tunnel portals that belonged to Southern Railways. This looks like a prime candidate. The tunnel was most likely replaced by the other tunnel because it wasn't large enough to accomodate modern frieght. If you ever get out that way again try to get some steadier shots.

@SnowWolfJones Yes I did say Webb Road. This isn't the only tunnle along Webb Road. Like I said in the video there are some more tunnels. I think there are 3 other abandoned tunnel, at least thoes are the tunnels I know about. It is a good tunnel to take a ATV through or a dirt bike. If you have a 4 by 4 that might be good to. The abandoned tunnels I know about are visible from the road. If you come from the direction of Kermit and Williamson you will see the tunnels. Thanks for Watching the Vid
