World record attempt

Due to poor hygiene, diarrhoea and acute respiratory infections claim the lives of millions of children in developing countries every year. But, the simple, inexpensive habit of hand washing with soap could prevent many of these unnecessary deaths. As part of the Global Hand washing Day activities, thousands gathered of people gathered at Thirime Primary School in Kikuyu area, in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most people washing hands at the same place. Smriti Vidyarthi has her hands full with that story.
