ufc guys can hold there own no question how ever may thai fights have fewer restrictions in stand up but no ground so decide what you wanna do how ever rember that may thai is basically mma stand up so you will be trained in aspects of it any way (train hard fight easy) (hope this leg clears up soon)

sorry i dont hink this is a good demonstration of the application of the downward elbow in muaythai. The lunge for the waist in unrealistic.A knee would be better used here. Look at Kieran Keddle v Andrei Kotsur for a practical application of downaward slashing elbows.
