  • Where can you get the single blade Bic? I'm waiting for my first Merkur and blades from leesrazors, and I'm anxious to start getting away from the mass produced monstrosities that suck harder each time a new one comes out.

  • rdangelo- They're available at many drugstores (Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, etc.) and grocery stores.

  • Always enjoy your videos, I came upon them from the Shavemyface forum.. Could you ask Joel how he "Snaps" the blades in half, I would like to know how to do it with getting an even amount as well as how to not slice my fingers up :)

  • MDavisUSF82- from a posting on B&B: "leaving the blade completely wrapped fold it in half, long edge to long edge and it should snap. You may want to do this against a solid surface such as your countertop. Be careful when unwrapping. You also may want to wear gloves or some such protection. Remember, you could cut yourself in all kinds of nasty ways."

  • @mantic59 nice job great razors..

  • I'm going to get the Dovo Shavette. I want a straight, but don't have much money or the time to constantly hone the blade (much less buy waterstones and strops).

  • Monkeynotape- I have two videos that will probably answer your question. Check my channel for "Adjustable Safety Razors" and "Merkur Progress Annoyances."

  • Hmm that might present a problem as my only blades as of now are the ones readily available at Wal-mart and come in a holder and arent wrapped.

To add to this you may like to suggest a straight razor I saw on Ebay for 1.99 do a search for Blue Plastic Straight Razor, I got it to see if I like using a straight, and I have just gotten it the other day, very cheap way to find out if you like it or not

  • Thanks. Great content
