Why not just harvest one group for everything?...Maybe it's just their way of proving that Earth is still massively wasteful.

@fettel1988 Maybe they're based on the type of harvesters sent out... they seem to be more robotic than humanoid, so the harvesters could just be deployed based on "gathering" or something?

And it's like in this, to the harvesters, humans are like farm crops. Based on their planets they may have stronger portions. These people apparently had a planet rich on vitamins that helped your skin, hence why the harvesters would want skin...?

I dunno.

I don't know how would I felt if someone died in front of me too. Also, I think the same way he did, as "she couldn't die that easily could she?" It was very sad.
