Thai Boxing Match

During my travels through Thailand over a period of three years, I lived in the beautiful North West, north of Chiang Dow, very close to the Burmese (Myanmar) border. This was in 2003 - 4. Once, on my way to Chiang Rai, to do my visa renewal, we stopped at the customary autumn festival. These young boxers were entertaining the masses by a good old bit of violence. I imagine they will be in their early twenties now. The crowd, they loved it and I have a feeling a few Thai bhat were at stake over the display. There are a few glitches in the video. Couldn't get rid of those. Tape must have been a little damaged. Or something...
