greenerhill what is the story w pete way?

The people who cry for Schenker to return probably want Blackmore to rejoin Purple too. It's not even worth arguing with them! :) Michael Schenker and UFO are both doing very well these days, separately. Pete Way's absence is genuinely sad, though, as he didn't want to quit the band.

guys stop saying things concerning schenker,i understand that michael schenker played a significant role in the reputation the band would earn, but, only in this way.even without schenker the band produced miracles in the 80s.they just weren't famous cause some other crappy bands were producing some stupid songs and most of the people who dont know what rock music means listen to them instead of listening to ufo.thats all...
-
I just don't get you guys. Can't you just be grateful that these rock legends are still around and ENJOY THE MUSIC?

I remember back in the 80's when UFO was playing a gig in San Jose, CA. They played a club. Michael had a fit for some unknown reason, left the stage and never came back. Phil asked the audience if there was a guitar player in the house. There were 3 lol. I don't know who got to play, but it still turned out to be a really good show! Btw, I do agree... Schenker's solo is wayyy better!
-
are you kidding me ? this solo isnowhere near Schenker's solo- horrible
-
Yeh Harley Davidson! And love ths song!!!!

UFO are very good with or without MS....Mogg/Way were always the essence of the band anyway.
-
If it's not Schenker, it's not UFO! It's that simple. Phil Moog's vocals are still great, but that's about it. Spend yer hard-earned money and go see MSG - don't even bother seeing UFO without Schenker. Maybe I'm a purist but Vinnie's sound is very tinny - the old UFO and MSG now thrives on the full, distorted sound of Schenker's V. Besides, it takes genius to think it up and put their soul into the riffs - any cover band can play them. It's just not the same without him...

let me say this, scgenker is tremendous, there is no question, but members of bands come & go, whatever the reasons r, i saw schenker last summer, awesome. i am cing ufo in may in nyc, wld i like 2 c Mike with them,4 sure, bit its not happ, Vinnie Moore seems like he has everything down pat.Its like when i saw msg, appice was on drums, i wld much rather c simon phillips, but didnt happen. u have 2 make the best of it........
Vinnie or Michael,,,UFO is still a force to reckon with beyond metal music...All of them have contributed and shaped our modern music scene today...Praise to them!...ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!...
