First ride testing my new Veho Muvi DV cam; attached to my helmet using a elastic band. Incident occurs at the turn point of my extended commute: Ainsdale roundabout. Nearly taken out by DG55 VLY. (Girl)
No sound track, but original was wind noise.. ArrgGGGghhh!, for FU*KS SAKE!, more wind noise.
@Goodegging cyclists may pass on the left.

As far as I am aware you are allowed to move up stationary traffic on the left according to the British Highway code.
So the car was in the wrong.

I agree. Car entering the driveway here cannot be blamed. I break the rules all the time riding in NYC (see my videos under "gumonthepants") so I don't blame anyone for not seeing me. You've got to be aware and be able to anticipate what cars are going to do to be able to break the law safely. In this case you've got to assume someone might want to turn into that driveway and position yourself accordingly...

I'm guessing thats a faulty car she has, her indicators dont work
;-)
Glad you're ok, I always stick a very powerful 1w light on even during daylight for this - hopefully they will see it. Others ride during the day with a 3w tesco torch too now I hear.
Secondly I think filtering near zigzags is inadvisable under the highwaycode iirc.
