I think Pete would've love playing for the Celtics had he played longer. But he was going through some stuff at the time which caused him to retire. I wish he played in '85 when Bill Walton joined them. They would've been the best bench players.

So, Pete Maravich and Oscar Robertson played the two-guard. While Magic Johnson played point guard and power forward but also, all the other positions on the court.

No wonder they compare him to Pistol. Because of his looks and his skill. In fact they call Rubio La Pistola in Spain. Interesting! I always thought that Adam Morrison looked like Pete Maravich when he had his mustache and his long hair. Now he has his hair cut.
