Freeze Frame: Capturing Nature in Winter, a collaborative effort between the public and Bell Museum Artist in Residence, Areca Roe, celebrates this seasonal awakening by exploring people's individual and collective experiences of nature and winter in the Midwest - as captured through the camera lens.

How can you be a part of Freeze Frame?
Send us a photo! Beginning December 22, 2011 at midnight through March 19, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. we'll be accepting your images that capture nature in winter, to be selected for inclusion in the installation. Frost on a sidewalk? A child tasting snow? Wildlife seeking shelter? Whatever speaks to you....we want to see it!
Important Information & Image Requirements
• Participants may submit one image per day
• All submissions meeting our criteria will be posted in the Freeze Frame online gallery Flickr stream. • Images must be a minimum of 1600x1600 pixels to be eligible for inclusion in the installation.
• If selected, your image will be part of an art installation, curated by Artist in Residence, Areca Roe. Arranging of images will be at her discretion.
• The Bell Museum retains sole discretion to determine which photos we select for display.
• The Bell Museum respects your ownership of the photo and will not sell or share the image without your consent. If your photo is used in the exhibit, you will be given credit.
