@patriot2572 do you know anything about tennis? Nadal, Murray, federer would all beat perry easily. The power of their shots, their movement, rackets, spin, would be too much for slow slice forehands like that one of perry that you pointed out. perry was a class act, but this is a whole different era. Its like saying serenade Williams would beat Murray...she wouldn't.

It would be very interesting to see Fred Perry play Nadal and Federer. I'd give Perry the edge vs Nadal on grass and hard courts, but Nadal on clay. Federer v Perry on grass would be epic. Could Federer a handle a Perry forehand like 0:07 in....if anyone could Federer could. I think a grass match would go the full 5 sets with these two..and i'll say Federer wins barely 11-9.....If Murray played Perry it would be pretty embarassing...i just couldnt see Murray winning a set..let alone the match.

@Bhoeble How can you say that? the racket's in perry's days were made from different materials that effects the way a player plays, if perry had a Metal racket, he would be good, but you can't go saying things like this because perrys racket's wooden and not as good as todays metal one's. And here's something that goes to show the racket effects the play - Bjorn borge tried to come back from retirement in the early 90s but lost 12 conscutive games using an OLD RACKET goes for show Racketscount
