I am on a Mac - to the best of my knowledge, it is not working on them *regardless* of having one of the 'blessed" graphic cards.

I have a good PC but it's definitely not a super-gaming monster: I think I spent less than 700€ overall. I'm running Linux Ubuntu 9.04.
CPU Intel Core Duo 6420 2.13 GHz
4 GB RAM
Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT 512mb
HDD Western Digital Raptor
