Wow, in the 14th round, Holmes just didn't have the energy or aggressiveness to finish his man. Showing his age.

@Myndir Ok superstar,im just trying to help you from making yourself look even more ridiculous.Might seem impossible, when someone ACTUALLY thinks holmes won that 1st fight, but hey,i tried.
-
@TheGatorfan93 Hey bro, watch me care what you think.
-
@Myndir ''Now i think the first fight was more clearly for holmes''
Hey bro, stop attempting to judge fights, with that comment alone, you lost all credibility.

@corytclark I always used to score the first fight on a knife-edge for Holmes and the second fight clearly for Holmes. Now I think that the first fight was more clearly for Holmes and the second fight was much, much closer than I had thought. Spinks's problem in both fights was that his good work was concentrated either in particular minutes or particular rounds. I tend to score by the minute minutes, rather than the "most flashy punches" approach that, for example, got Holyfield a D vs. Lewis.

I gave round 14 to Spinks.
Yes, I do agree with you on the EFFECTIVE aggression scoring. But I gave it to Spinks because he threw a little bit more. It all depends what you prefer; a man to land 10 shots and not have his man budge, or the other man to land just ONE shot but have him out on his feet (just an example). However, it was a VERY close round. In fact, I may watch it again, and my opinion might change. But I liked what Spinks did early and late.

@torr5962 ''Christ,Holmes won that fight easy''
...Hilarious

Christ, Holmes won this fight easy. But he acted like such an asshole after the 1st fight, like he never received close decisions, that is was like Boxing was against him in the end of his career.

13th round goes narrowly to Spinks. Round 14 goes to Holmes, because while they both landed serious leather only Holmes actually hurt his opponent (you score EFFECTIVE aggression, not just aggression). 135-131 to Holmes after 14 rounds.
If you notice, lederman didn't add up his score card correctly. After round 12 he has it 116 to 113. If he had added correctly it should read 116 to 112.

Cannot understand why Holmes felt robbed. He wasnt dominating the fight at all. Close fight yea, but in that case, you can't cry robbery.
