Buddy shares a raisin with Tuck Tuck too cute!

This is an old video from January of 2008 (before Tucker passed away). Again the quality isn't wonderful but I thought it was too cute not to share--Buddy holds the raisin in his hand and takes turns eating it with Tuck Tuck. Tucker and Buddy really were great friends. :)

haha I know conures and he definately wasn't sharing it on purpose... they have to hold it like that so they can eat what they bite off.... and the budgie was helping himself lol very cute though

Well I know Buddy likes to hold food like that (like many other birds) but he could have bit Tucker away and he didn't. So that's why I said he shared--'cause he didn't punish Tucker for helping himself. haha

so can we feed budgies raisins? i just have alot and wanted to use them a training treats...

That is so awesome to have birds that get along well. I've taken care of parakeets and cockatiels for about the past decade, and usually the parakeets are bossy to the cockatiels. Cool that your conure Buddy is so friendly, that is a neat bird.

That is very sweet. I've personally never seen a bird allow another bird who wasn't their mate take food from them. Buddy is quite a guy!
