Stabbing And Decapitating A British Woman In Tenerife

TENERIFE-A British woman has been stabbed and decapitated in Tenerife.

The 60-year-old woman was reportedly attacked in a supermarket in the town of Los Cristianos on the island.

A Bulgarian man, believed to be homeless, has been detained by Spanish police.

Oye que eso es un holiday resort, aquí lo ven así y si paso pues nada una pena, pero así paso y eso no quita que Tenerife, Las Canarias sigan siendo un destino turístico predilecto por su clima y demás...Los Cristianos aquí lo venden como "tourist resort" y yo lo es... que trabaje mucho años ahí y en Las Américas. En cualquier zona turística del mundo puede pasar alguna tragedia, eso no lo podemos controlar nosotros...

@TheGuanche07 Funny how people are always quick to blame popular media for horrific crimes. This homeless man was obviously insane. He didn't own a television or a game console. He lived in a filthy little shack, squatting in the vicinity of these businesses. The denizens of that particular neighborhood reported that he would often shout that he was god and that he would strike them down. If anything, this is a perfect demonstration of the ruinous effects of religion on a person's mental state.

I don't want to imagine what I'll feel like if that happened to my family, I doubt it would very much. And so long as we know exactly what happened (besides the beheading) there's no way on earth one could sensibly believe that it 'just happens'.

@TheGuanche07 Its was prob far worse a long time ago. Media scared almost brainwash people, movies are violent but i don't think they have that much of an effect and there is no proof that video games makes people violent. If anything culture is the No1 reason for most crimes. I mean look at inner city crime and the culture of black people
