If anyone has seen the movie Ip Man 1 & 2, if you paid attention to the ending of both bad guy's when Ip Man trips the opponent and puts them in a head lock and punches their face, you can see that Bruce Lee did the exact same thing that Ip Man did.

Look at 0:46 and look at what Bruce Lee does. That is the exact same move Ip Man did in the movies.

I've read Tao of JKD, YOU don't understand. JKD has a proper stance and follows scientific principles. Use no way as way, NOT any way as way. You cant just do whatever you please and call it JKD, thats called CONCEPTS which is crap. Read the 4 Bruce Lee fighting METHOD books, or go learn from a real teacher like Sifu Carruthers or Ted Wong. Those other frauds do not belong in the same video as Bruce and Tommy, it is very insulting to suggest they are anywhere near the same class of JKD. Peace.

Yes, you're right, you said right words, but I never said "use any way as way" , I said that "Jeet Kune Do" is just a name because it is not a method. So there aren't standard techniques what yu can use in a street fight(without rules). Secondly I read "Bruce Lee's Fighting Method" and they are 4 nice books, but you must remember that tey are written by Mr. Uyehara, whereas "Tao of Jeet Kune Do is written by Bruce Lee himself.Peace for you too, my friend.

I picked up my first book on bruce lee in the 80s . I've read many of his books and training manuscipts. I've even taken jkd concept classes.

Now 2009 to see the boom in all of these people talking about JKD and all of these schools popping up. It's just amazing to experience this!

I think Bruce would just cry with joy to see how many people there are today who loves him and apprieciate his contribution. This is JKD! (cool)(great)(fantastic)

I remember taking kung fu when I was a young lad. Copied Bruce to a T. Sparred with one of the instructors after class. He said, "don't move like that". I kicked his ass.

That was a great video! When I get on here at you tube and I see a title for JKD I end up clicking on a waste of time and a bunch of junk. But I enjoyed this. Thanks for putting some quality stuff up!!!
